    Job Description

    DLZ Corporation currently has a Program Controls Assistant opportunity in Detroit, MI. We are looking for a highly talented and motivated individual to assist with scheduling within Primavera P6 and development and maintenance of e-Builder PMIS (Project Management Information Software). 

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Assist with schedule creation, updating, development and reporting of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) within Primavera P6.
    • Communicate with internal and external staff routinely for status updates and troubleshooting as necessary to maintain schedule and management software accuracy.
    • Validate data provided by consultants/contractors.
    • Identify potential risk trends.
    • Receive training on how e-Builder functions and how the system is setup in order to and perform minor programming tasks within the application.
    • Perform SharePoint administrative tasks.
    • Assist with maintenance and upgrading of project management systems, including workflows, dashboards and external reports.
    • Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Associates or BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering and 3 years of directly related experience. Longer lengths of experience can substitute for a college degree.
    • One or more-years recent relevant recent experience required.
    • Must be proficient in use of Primavera P6.
    • E-builder experience is a plus, but training can be provided
    • Microsoft Office experience is required.
    • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Effective working in a group Project Controls environment.
    • Understanding of Engineering/Construction operations schedules/environments.
    • Proficient in gathering, maintaining, reporting and analyzing schedule data.
    • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
