    Job Description

    DLZ is looking to fill Technician positions in Chicago, IL.  Job training will be provided for installing traffic data collection units.  Work will be conducted in the office and in the field.  We are looking for individuals to work from April until September. 
     
    Primary Duties:

    • Install data collection equipment
    • Upload and transfer collected data
    • Accurately record all results
    • View traffic videos and enter data
    • Maintain clean and organized equipment
    • Follow directions
    • Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values
    • Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with DLZ’s Health and Safety Plan.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications:

    • High school graduate, or equivalent
    • Ability to use basic hand tools (ex: hammer, drill, utility knife)
    • Valid driver’s license including an insurable driving record
    • Dependable with the ability to work overtime as required
    • Able to read, follow, and understand directions
    • Able to work outside in all weather conditions if required
    • Ability to visit and safely traverse project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements
